Our Story

We are a team of Cinematographers who look for the art in life and always aim to highlight the beauty we see within the world.

James is a master storyteller working in the commercial film and tv world for almost 10 years developing his craft as a Director and Cinematographer. Whilst also being the creative brains behind the scenes, James is organising the team, planning and making sure Sugar Mill Road is the one stop shop for making memories last a life time. 

Sinead is a talented female Cinematographer who has a passion for capturing beautiful imagery and motion that will be cherished for a life time.

We love all things fun and adventure, travelling, surfing, snow boarding, scuba diving, dancing with friends, creating memories and living in the moment.

Our craftsmanship and expertise paired together with the RED Helium camera is what makes our signature Featurette edit wedding films breathtaking.

We are based in Brisbane, but we fly every where for love. Sugar Mill Road has captured wedding films all across the world.
